On April 12, 2024, a triple homicide occurred at the Jamestowne Apartments in the 4400 block of Duxbury Lane, near East 45th Street and North Post Road in Lawrence, Indiana. Among the victims was 27-year-old Spencer Lawson Jr. from Indianapolis. The incident was reported at 7:16 p.m. when Lawrence police responded to a call about a person shot.
