In the early morning hours of January 8, 2026, the life of Darryl Timothy Hines, a 38-year-old Black / African American male from Richmond, was tragically cut short in Henrico, Virginia. Just before 5 a.m., Henrico Police responded to a call about a suspicious situation in the 1400 block of Oakland Road in the Varina district. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Mr. Hines lying in the roadway, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
