In the cold of a late January evening in 2021, the quiet of a Henrico, Virginia, neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. On January 23rd, on Delmont Street, a 29-year-old man from Richmond named Dwight A. Hill was shot. First responders found him in the street with multiple life-threatening wounds and transported him to a local hospital. For two weeks, he fought for his life, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries on February 7, 2021.
