On January 17, 2023, at approximately 12:23 p.m., Henrico County Police responded to a reported shooting in the 5000 block of Charles City Road in eastern Henrico, Virginia. Upon arrival, officers discovered 43-year-old Cameron Darnell Steele inside a residence with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
