his bright smile and joyful personality. He was a student at Varina High School, and his mother was set to receive his diploma in the months following his death. Known affectionately as 'Tow Truck' in his younger years for his unstoppable nature, he had a passion for football, having played for the Virginia Randolph Rams, the Highland Springs Springers, and the Varina Blue Devils. He also enjoyed basketball and music, and cherished spending time with his younger brothers.
Despite the passage of time, the case of Kivonte Sessoms' murder remains an active and open investigation. Law enforcement officials have not publicly identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with his death. The Henrico County Police Division continues to list his case among its unsolved homicides, appealing to the public for any information that might lead to a breakthrough and bring justice to his family and loved ones.
