In the quiet evening of Sunday, February 15, 2026, the life of 18-year-old William Andre Scott Jr. was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the Maple Springs apartment complex on Maple Run Lane in Henrico, Virginia. When Henrico Police arrived at the scene, they discovered two adult males with apparent gunshot wounds. William was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second individual was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
