On May 28, 2018, she, along with her husband Kenny Adair and stepdaughter Cassidy Ganey, were found deceased in their home. The devastating event was the result of a violent outburst from Cassidy's husband, Sean Ganey.

escalating marital strife. Investigators believe that Sean Ganey, 29, fatally shot his wife, Cassidy, her father, Kenny, and her stepmother, Shelly, before turning the gun on himself.
