On April 23, 2023, at approximately 8 p.m., Henrico County Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a firearm violation in the 700 block of Pleasant Street, near Highland Springs Elementary School. Upon arrival, officers discovered 37-year-old Trevell Hosea Archer of Henrico suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
