Ernest Johnson, a 26-year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on June 19, 2021. Johnson was fatally shot outside an apartment on Charles E. Davis Boulevard in the Napier community. According to the investigation led by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department , Johnson attempted to intercede in an argument between a woman and Thomas Givens, 41, when he was shot.
