Matthew Vincent Degnan, a 41-year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee, tragically died on September 25, 2021. Degnan, who required full-time living assistance, was inside his caretaker's home on Crouch Drive when he was shot by someone in a dark-colored sedan. The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m., and Degnan was struck in the chest. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center but succumbed to his injuries.
