Dagoberto Utrera-Gonzalez, a 47-year-old man, tragically lost his life on February 5, 2019, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was shot in the upper torso and leg by an unknown assailant around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Glengarry Drive and Murfreesboro Pike. A passing Metro Nashville South Precinct police sergeant stopped to assist Utrera-Gonzalez, providing emergency first aid and calling for an ambulance.
