In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Nashville, a dispute between acquaintances escalated into a fatal act of violence that claimed the life of 29-year-old Jonathan T. Keith. The incident unfolded inside a duplex on Brickdale Lane on January 12, 2025. An argument between Keith and a man he knew took a grim turn when a gun was introduced, leading to Keith being critically shot.
Following the shooting, the suspect made a chilling attempt to conceal the crime.
He dragged Keith's body outside and tried to clean the scene of the violence before fleeing the location as police were being dispatched just after 3:30 a.m. Despite medical intervention, doctors determined that Keith's wounds were not survivable, and he succumbed to his injuries.
For months, the case remained under active investigation, with homicide detectives pursuing what they described as strong leads. The break in the case came on March 20, 2025, when TITANS Unit detectives arrested 48-year-old Donshay Falls. According to multiple witnesses present at the time of the shooting, Falls was the individual who shot Keith, allegedly using the victim's own firearm during their confrontation. Falls was subsequently charged with criminal homicide for his role in Jonathan T. Keith's death.
