Death by Force

On March 1, 2015, 25-year-old Murray Gross of Memphis, Tennessee, was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting at a Cook Out restaurant in Midtown Nashville. Gross and his friend, Ryan Weaver, were specifically targeted by the gunman, who opened fire inside the restaurant around 3:15 a.m. Gross attempted to escape by running to his car, but he was pursued by the gunman and shot multiple times in an alley behind the restaurant. Gross succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
