On the evening of October 17, 2020, a burst of gunfire outside a residence on Old Elm Hill Pike in Nashville, Tennessee, shattered the night and ended three lives. Among the victims was 28-year-old Quencharious Fernandez Edmondson, an African American male known for his charismatic and energetic personality. The violent encounter also claimed the lives of 26-year-old Gennaro Daniele and 27-year-old Jesus Torrero.
According to witnesses, a gunman emerged from behind a building and opened
fire on Daniele and Torrero before making a quick escape in a burgundy Chevrolet sedan. The story took a strange turn shortly after the shooting when a vehicle matching the description of the getaway car appeared at TriStar Summit Medical Center. The occupants of the car attempted to leave a severely wounded Edmondson, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, at the hospital. However, they abruptly fled the scene when hospital staff approached their vehicle.
The search for Edmondson came to a tragic end when his body was discovered inside an SUV parked on Enon Springs Road in Smyrna, Tennessee. The Metro Nashville Police Department launched an investigation into the triple homicide and has been actively seeking information to identify the individuals responsible for this brazen act of violence.
As of late 2023, the investigation into the murders of Quencharious Edmondson, Gennaro Daniele, and Jesus Torrero remains open and active. Authorities are still searching for three suspects involved in the shooting and are urging anyone with information to come forward. No arrests have been made in the case, leaving a community to mourn and await justice for the three young men whose lives were cut short that October night.
