In the autumn of 2016, the life of 19-year-old Jhonquis Compton was tragically cut short in Nashville, Tennessee. On the night of October 14th, Compton was at an off-campus Tennessee State University dormitory on West Heiman Street when he was shot. The wound to his head was critical, and despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
