Death by Force

On the evening of October 12, 2023, Charles Smith, a 66-year-old resident of Nashville, Tennessee, was fatally shot outside Resha's Market, located at 717 25th Avenue North. Officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) responded to the scene around 7:55 p.m., discovering Smith lying on the sidewalk. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
