Darius Deshawn Brooks, a 28-year-old resident of Bessemer, Alabama, was tragically shot and killed on April 25, 2023. The incident occurred in the driveway of a residence on Parker Road and stemmed from a dispute with his cousin, Jordan Brooks, reportedly over a debt related to a food delivery order. Jordan Brooks was subsequently arrested and charged with murder in connection with the shooting.
