On a day meant for celebration, tragedy struck a family gathering in Bessemer, Alabama. It was Easter Sunday in 2021 when gunfire erupted at a home where a large family was celebrating the holiday. The chaos and violence of that evening left two people dead and a community in mourning. One of the victims was Kendrick Felix Morrisette, a 22-year-old male.
