In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Bessemer, Alabama, a domestic dispute escalated into a fatal encounter. On July 6, 2025, 33-year-old Gumero Olvera Castro was involved in an altercation with his brother-in-law, Luis Rey Guerro Martinez. The argument took a tragic turn when Martinez allegedly shot Castro.
