Quintrius Lee Jackson, a 25-year-old man from Bessemer, Alabama, was shot and killed on the night of August 17, 2017. Jackson was found with gunshot wounds in a residential area on 7th Avenue, a neighborhood located in the southern part of Bessemer, just outside Birmingham. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire, and when they arrived, they discovered Jackson lying near a street corner. Despite attempts to provide life-saving measures, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
