On March 21, 2020, 39-year-old Christopher Edward Tillman was fatally shot in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. near McNeil Park, specifically in the 1900 block of Long 14th Street North. Officers responding to reports of a shooting found Tillman deceased at the scene. Another individual was injured in the same incident and transported to UAB Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
