In the early winter of 2022, the life of 20-year-old John Christopher Taylor Wilson was tragically cut short by gun violence in Bessemer, Alabama. On Saturday, January 8, 2022, his body was discovered abandoned on a roadside in western Jefferson County, leaving a community to grapple with the senselessness of his death.
