Death by Force

On November 28, 2021, Emmit King, a 62-year-old former Olympic sprinter, was fatally shot in Bessemer, Alabama. Authorities reported that King and 60-year-old Willie Albert Wells, who were acquainted, engaged in an argument outside a residence. The confrontation escalated when both men drew firearms and exchanged gunfire.
