On a late summer evening in 2016, a community gathering in a Bessemer, Alabama, park turned into a scene of tragedy, forever altering the lives of many. Antonio Hinkle, a 32-year-old male, was among those at Brighton Park on August 27th, enjoying the annual 'Love Thy Neighbor' event. He was reportedly cooking food when gunfire erupted, chaos ensued, and Hinkle was fatally wounded.
