Christopher Kasean Jackson, a 21-year-old from Bessemer, Alabama, lost his life to gun violence on April 25, 2021. The incident occurred outside a convenience store in Bessemer. Jackson was shot on Sunday night and was subsequently taken to the hospital in a private vehicle, which was stopped by police.

Following the shooting, Nar'Darrius Anton Christian, a 19-year-old, was charged with murder in connection with Jackson's death.
