On June 4, 2020, 20-year-old Corey Dewayne Alexander was fatally shot in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of 25th Street North, where a dispute escalated into a shootout involving multiple weapons. Authorities reported that over 100 shots were fired from five different calibers, resulting in injuries to four individuals, including Alexander.
