On November 11, 2016, 20-year-old DeCarlos Deandre Walker was fatally shot in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Seventh Avenue. Upon arrival, Bessemer police discovered Walker lying in the street with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
