Allen Thomas, a 13-year-old boy, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in Bessemer, Alabama, on January 3, 2025. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. when an unknown assailant fired shots into a home located in the 1200 block of 13th Street North. Allen, who was inside the residence at the time, was struck by gunfire. He was immediately transported to Children's Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 2:58 a.m. The coroner officially confirmed his death.
