In the spring of 2021, the life of 31-year-old DeMario L. Kirkland, a male resident of Bessemer, Alabama, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Saturday, April 3rd, events unfolded that would lead to his untimely death. Gun violence erupted, and Kirkland sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
