On the evening of September 23, 2018, a gathering in Bessemer, Alabama, turned tragic, ending the life of 28-year-old Quinton Lamar Riddle. Riddle, a Black male, was visiting a home in the 4700 block of Little Drive when another man arrived, sparking an argument. The dispute escalated, and gunfire erupted outside the residence.
