Remains are discovered in a Utah County canyon 3 years after she vanished
Elizabeth Salgado, a 26-year-old woman from Chiapas, Mexico, vanished on April 16, 2015, while walking home from her language school in Provo, Utah. She had only been in the U.S. for a few weeks, having moved to Provo to study English after completing a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico.
