Shaquille Cotton, a 28-year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee, was tragically killed on January 24, 2022, in what was determined to be a targeted shooting. Cotton was standing at the passenger side of a vehicle on South Seventh Street, speaking to people inside, when an unidentified gunman approached him from behind and opened fire.
