On February 8, 2024, 16-year-old Takeo Bills of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident in the parking lot of Meigs Magnet School in East Nashville. He and 17-year-old Jalen McAdams of Franklin arrived at the location together in a white Nissan Altima around 6:50 p.m. A black Honda Accord, occupied by 18-year-old Rico Doss Jr. and another individual, was already present.
