On a cool Friday evening in Nashville, Tennessee, the life of 18-year-old Hoigo Jajolon Lyles was tragically cut short. On December 2, 2016, after being dropped off from work at an apartment complex located at 601 N. DuPont Ave., Lyles was fatally shot.

At approximately 10:00 p.m., police officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area. Upon their arrival, they discovered Hoigo Jajolon Lyles on the ground at the end of apartment building D, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. ...
