In the early hours of a Sunday in February 2017, the body of 30-year-old Antonio Roberts, an African-American male, was discovered in a grim scene under the Briley Parkway bridge in Nashville, Tennessee. The discovery, made on February 5th, launched a homicide investigation by the Metro Nashville Police who determined that Roberts had likely been shot before his body was left at the location.
