On a Sunday afternoon in Nashville, Tennessee, the life of 20-year-old Keylando Powers was abruptly ended. On April 16, 2023, Powers, a Black male, was fatally shot inside a Callywood Court apartment where he had been temporarily staying with the leaseholder's permission. The man charged with his murder, 23-year-old Perry Reed, had previously lived in the same apartment.
