On April 16, 2023, 20-year-old Keylando "Rambo" Dotta Powers was fatally shot inside an apartment on Callywood Court in Nashville, Tennessee. Powers had been temporarily staying at the residence with the leaseholder's permission. That afternoon, Perry Reed, 23, a former resident of the apartment, visited and engaged in a brief, casual conversation with Powers.
