On December 27, 2023, the body of 58-year-old Orlando Hernandez was discovered inside a car at a wrecker lot in South Nashville. The vehicle had been towed from 52 Tusculum Road on December 15, meaning Hernandez's body had remained undetected for nearly two weeks. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department ruled his death a homicide.
