On March 4, 2024, at approximately 3:30 a.m., 32-year-old Samuel L. Edwards Jr. was fatally shot at an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Buena Vista Pike in Nashville, Tennessee. Edwards was visiting an acquaintance when an unknown individual followed him into the apartment and shot him once. He was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
