A sense of normalcy was shattered on the morning of March 4, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee, when Samuel L. Edwards Jr., a 32-year-old male, was fatally shot. The incident unfolded at an apartment complex on Buena Vista Pike, a place where Edwards was simply visiting an acquaintance. In a brazen act of violence, an assailant followed Edwards directly into the apartment and fired a single, fatal shot.
