In the late afternoon of July 19, 2022, a dispute between coworkers in the parking lot of a Jack in the Box on Largo Drive in South Nashville, Tennessee, ended in the tragic death of 30-year-old Keanthony Rishon Thompson. An argument that began between the girlfriends of Thompson and his fellow employee, 28-year-old Trey Scales, escalated into a physical altercation involving the two men.
