Jawauntez K. Powell, a 22-year-old male from Nashville, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on September 10, 2022. Powell was fatally shot at a convenience store in north Nashville. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when an altercation led to gunfire. Powell, who was standing in line at the store, was shot by 19-year-old Treyvon Palmer.
