On June 29, 2022, Wilmer Antonio Quiroz, a 55-year-old man of Hispanic descent, was found shot to death in the parking lot of Crestview Apartments on Thompson Place in Nashville, Tennessee. An Uber driver discovered Quiroz with a single gunshot wound. The investigation, led by Detective Madison Meiss, revealed that Quiroz had a brief interaction with 16-year-old David Guerra-Guzman before the shooting.
