Derontae Teasley, a 26-year-old male, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2020, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was one of several victims who were shot during a vigil on South 8th Street. The incident occurred around 9:24 PM when two unknown individuals wearing pandemic masks approached the gathering and opened fire before fleeing the scene in a blue-gray car.
