In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Nashville, the vibrant pulse of the Trap Up Studio, a hookah bar on Hill Avenue, was tragically silenced by gunfire. David Bickham, a 27-year-old man working as the DJ for the night, was fatally shot and died at the scene on April 23, 2023. Another man, 26-year-old Tarrell Grant, was also wounded in the shooting and later succumbed to his injuries at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
