On a grim March day in 2017, the life of James Edward Sapp, a 51-year-old man, came to a violent and abrupt end in Indianapolis. His body was discovered outside, near a pickup truck on North Riley Avenue. Known to some as 'Eddie,' Sapp had been fatally wounded by a shotgun blast to the head.
