James Edward Sapp, also known as "Eddie," was found dead on March 6, 2017, in Indianapolis, Indiana. His body was discovered outside by a pickup truck on the 2100 block of North Riley Avenue. The cause of death was a shotgun wound to the head, inflicted by Karl Woodall, who was later convicted of the murder.
