Oswaldo Cruz-Lopez, aged 46, tragically lost his life on May 24, 2021, in Indianapolis, Indiana. His death was the result of a fatal shooting that occurred at the Spanish Oaks Apartments, located near 38th Street and Mitthoeffer Road. On that fateful day, Cruz-Lopez was involved in an altercation with a co-worker, Alejandro Leon Barroso, who ultimately shot him multiple times. The incident took place inside a vacant apartment unit where both men were working.
