In the autumn of 2021, the life of 14-year-old Timothy DeWayne Morris was tragically cut short in Indianapolis. Known affectionately as 'TJ' to his friends and family, he was a young man with a promising future and a love for basketball. On October 11, 2021, a shooting occurred at an apartment complex on the east side of the city, leaving TJ critically injured.
