DaQuan Barner, a 21-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on March 27, 2019, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred in the parking lot of an apartment complex located on the 5600 block of Port Au Prince Street, near Rockville Road and North Mickley Avenue. Barner, who was affectionately known as "Meechie" by his friends and family, was one of two 21-year-old men shot by a passing car.
