On March 28, 2024, a homicide occurred at an apartment complex on the south side of Indianapolis, near the interchange of I-465 and I-65. The victim, identified as 36-year-old David Scott Howes, was found with gunshot wounds at the Stone Lake Apartments in the 4300 block of Lake Park Boulevard.
