In the summer of 2014, the life of 31-year-old Joshua Daniel Tucker was tragically cut short in Indianapolis. On the evening of June 5th, a dispute escalated to a fatal confrontation, leaving Tucker dead in a driveway from a gunshot wound. When authorities arrived at the scene, he was pronounced dead. The investigation into his death pointed to an ongoing conflict with another man concerning a dog.
Investigators quickly identified a suspect, 26-year-old Albert Roger's, who had reportedly
fled the scene in his vehicle immediately after the shooting. Eyewitnesses provided a detailed description of the vehicle, which patrol officers located about a mile away in a supermarket parking lot. Although Roger's was initially questioned and had a legal permit for his firearm, he was released the following morning. However, the investigation continued, and a week later, law enforcement secured an arrest warrant for him.
Albert Roger's was subsequently arrested and formally charged with the murder of Joshua Tucker. A firearm was recovered by police at the scene of the crime. The case then moved into the hands of the justice system to determine the full circumstances surrounding the death of Joshua Tucker.
