Derrius A. Brandon, a 23-year-old resident of Indianapolis, was tragically killed on September 17, 2016, during a series of violent incidents that occurred on the city’s northwest side. Police were called to a scene involving multiple shootings around 1:30 a.m., where Derrius was found suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot.
